Chihuahua Saves Navy Veteran Dad Who Was Suffering A Stroke On His Houseboat

Navy Veteran Rudy Armstrong was on his houseboat in Oriental, North Carolina, when he started suffering a stroke. Thankfully, his Chihuahua mix named Bubu was close by.

The man looked his little dog in the eyes and said, “I need help. Go get Kim,” according to CarolinaEast Health System.

The smart pup took off immediately to go find Kim the Dockmaster who called 911 ultimately saving Rudy’s life.

If it weren’t for little Bubu, the man most likely wouldn’t have made it to the point for the paramedics and CarolinaEast staff to be able to care for him.

A reunion was orchestrated between the man and his little girl in the Rehab Garden, and it was a sight to behold.

Here’s to the best for these two friends going forward! 🙂
