One day, a passerby noticed Rusty’s haunting eyes and decided to pet him. Although Rusty was mistrustful and snarky at first; he easily warmed up to the kind stranger who showed him some affection for the first time.

Update: Rusty’s owner eventually got a hint of the man’s visits and confronted him. The man replied that keeping a dog chained outside 24/7 is animal cruelty, but the owner simply laughed it off. After some stern talking to, the man was able to convince the owner to surrender the dog.

Thanks to this kind man, Rusty was able to get rid of his corrosive chains for the first time in his life. Soon, a family decided to step in and give Rusty a forever home!
