A couple of pedestrians in Birmingham were moved by the painful cries of a dumped dog from a nearby trash can.
The dog was peeping out from the bin, as if he was waiting for his owner to come back.
Eventually, someone called local rescuers for help.

When the rescuers got to the skinny puppy, they were heartbroken at the sight of the puppy shivering in the cold bin in fear.
His owner didn’t even have the decency to surrender him in a warm shelter. The rescuers were also mesmerized by the puppy’s sweet nature.
The puppy was brought to the shelter and he became famous as the gorgeous “puppy in the bin”. They discovered he wasn’t microchipped.
His sad eyes still looked for his family, but he sweetly returned all the love that he received from the shelter workers.
The shelter even held a naming contest to help him find a suitable name.

The puppy ended up with the winning name – Scamp! Scamp is still regaining his health in the shelter, and will soon be up for adoption.
