A neighbor recounts how he heard firework noises late in the night, but ignored it as part of the 4th of July celebrations. Cops have also found traces of accelerant on the mutilated and tortured dog, and believe that the dog’s screams must have faded in the heavy firework blasts.

While police investigations are on, so far nothing concrete has been found on the case. They have now turned to the public for help, and are desperately seeking for any information that might help in tracking the culprit. Tips can be sent in to West Haven police at 203-937-3900.
