Love seems to have a way of finding us when we need it most. And it can come from the most unexpected of places.
A one-year-old Anatolian Shepherd named Kolima was born with a spinal condition called wobbler syndrome. This makes it difficult and painful to stand for an extended amount of time.
And since she has to spend most of her days lying or crouching, she can’t run and play with the other dogs.

Thankfully, she has a new friend who comes to her: a six-year-old donkey named Paolo. 🙂
“I thought I adopted a puppy,” the owner said on Facebook. “But every day it becomes clearer that she was adopted by my donkey.”

Their adorable friendship can be seen in the video below. It’s like Paolo was sent from above to make Kolima’s life better, and it’s a beautiful thing.
