Trying to keep your eyes open during a long movie can be a real struggle, as this dog knows only too well.
The boxer was filmed attempting – and failing – to stay awake while sitting on the sofa next to his owner.
The dog starts nodding off at the start of the video, but he sits back upright with his eyes wide open as soon as he realises what's happening.
However, his eyes start to close again soon after and he continues dozing in and out of consciousness.
At one point, he even rests his head on his owner's shoulder as the tiredness gets too much for him.
As soon as he wakes up again, he sits back upright and focuses his eyes on the screen – pretending as if nothing has happened.
At the end of the footage, the boxer appears to be nodding off again as his head falls backwards.
The hilarious video was filmed by the dog's owner and posted online. It is not clear exactly where it was filmed.
