In heartbreaking CCTV video, shared by the RSPCA, we see two heart-wrenching acts. An owner is shown abandoning his dog just a few days before Christmas. The footage shows the owner dumping the dog, along with his bed, on the pavement.

The heartless owner takes the dog off his lead and attempts to pull away unscathed. But then the most gut-wrenching thing occurs: The dog runs after his owner and starts jumping up at the car doors. The Staffordshire Terrier even wags his tail thinking this may be some sort of game. He just wants back into the car and the man couldn’t care less!
When the dog’s owner drives off, the dog is shown chasing the car, begging not to be left behind.

Thankfully, an hour later, a passerby found the dog lying on his bed where his owner left him. The Good Samaritan called the RSPCA who has launched an investigation into the matter.

The dog, now named Snoop, has several owners registered to his microchip– none of which are responsible for the abandonment. The entire thing is being sorted out, but for now, the RSPCA thinks Snoop will be best off with a new family where something like this can NEVER happen again.
While the whole incident is incredibly upsetting, it is a reminder to others that dogs do understand, they do feel, and they do hurt. What happens to them matters. If for any reason you cannot care for your pet, do the right thing! Make the appropriate calls and bring them to the appropriate place.
A pet is for life. Remember this and share this message with others. Do not adopt an animal unless you understand the realities of pet ownership. Pets are not disposable!
