We know that it can be incredibly hard for soldiers who have to move away from their families in order to protect the country.
These brave men and women serve their country for months and years on end, often putting their lives on line for the nation.

It is also equally hard for the soldiers’ families who can only anticipate their safe return.
It can be a rather frustrating situation especially for pets as they have no idea why a family member is gone for such a long period of time.
In this video, we see the ecstatic reaction of 2 German Shepherds who see their soldier dad return after a very long deployment. The poor dogs had always wondered why their dad isn’t home anymore.
So when the dogs finally see their beloved dad again, their anxieties fade away and they race to embrace their favorite person!

The buoyant dogs can barely contain their excitement as they squeal blissfully while huddling up around the soldier. They take turns to shower him with their affection, and get their precious belly rubs in return.
We just love how dogs always end up giving the best welcomes to their humans! What a satisfying reunion!
