Two Canadians, Vivian and Arthur, were on a visit to Thailand, when they decided to explore the Patara Elephant Farm, a dedicated sanctuary for breeding, managing and caring for the endangered elephants.

Unlike some other sanctuaries, the staff at Patara have prioritized the routine caring of elephants over attending to the tourists. So, it was only at the end of the day that Vivian and Arthur finally got their chance to greet the elephants.
In this video, Arthur sees a 2-month-old baby elephant named Tara. The tiny baby seems to have a bubbly personality, so Arthur goes in to say hello, and tries to pet her a little. Little did he know that Tara would be extra-fascinated by him!

We watch with amazement, as the sweet Tara runs up to Arthur and showers him with non-stop hugs and kisses. She looks just like an oversized dog, as she nuzzles and licks her new friend! Like Arthur, we too can’t stop grinning at the overflowing affections of this cuddle baby!
