Some animals are lucky to have owners who take good take of them, but others, unfortunately, are left on the streets to struggle and find their way out by themselves.
If you’re anything like me, you can’t help catching a sad feeling for those stray dogs and cats that live deplorable lives in the street corners. Sometimes you ran into a little creature all hungry, sick and running around lethargically and you realize just how much humanity has failed them.
That’s not to say there aren’t people out there trying to make a difference. The Humane Society does its best to bring a change into these little ones’ lives. This video will show you something.
So this good society happened to come across this one large property filled with stray dogs and cats. The animals were infested with ticks, fleas, mange and suffered from a myriad of other issues. In the ensuing rescue exercise, about 166 cats and dogs were saved, and Chuckie was one of them!
Turns out, Chuckie went missing from his family home 5 years ago. Luckily, the rescuers scanned him and found his microchip, so they contacted his owners. Now watch that moment when the family shows up to see Chuckie for the first time in years. He never forgot them!
