Timmy Was Found During One Of The Biggest Dog Fighting Ring Raids In History

In one of the biggest dog fighting ring raids in history, more than 350 dogs were rescued. This horrible neglect and abuse spanned across Georgia, Alabama, and Mississippi. Just looking at these pictures shows how badly these dogs were treated.

Timmy was one of the youngest dogs rescued and became the poster puppy for abused dogs with the ASPCA. Wait until you see how his story ends.

This was one of the biggest dog fighting raids in history.

This 8-week-old puppy was one of the youngest dogs rescued.

No dog deserves this around its neck, especially such a little dog.

ASPCA

How could anyone treat animals so cruelly?

This picture basically says it all.

When help arrived, he had the biggest smile. 🙂

Ten suspects were arrested on dogfighting charges.

Unfortunately, it was too late for many of them. Dead animals were found all over the property.

But Timmy was one of the survivors.

ASPCA

He was moved to the Humane Society of Calvert County in Maryland for care.

Just look at him now. 🙂

Here’s Timmy wearing an appropriate leash for once.

Timmy learned to trust and was ready for a forever home.

He looks rather comfortable here. 🙂

It was a long legal process, but Timmy and the other dogs finally got the love they deserve.

ASPCA

Timmy became the poster pup for the ASPCA and abused dogs everywhere.

ASPCA

Nine months after the rescue, 10 of the 14 defendants had pleaded guilty. Luckily, these dogs were rescued before it got even worse.

If you would like to help other dogs in need, you can donate to the Humane Society or ASPCA.
