A tiny puppy was found all by himself after all of his siblings passed away. There were 7 puppies in the litter so this little guy’s survival was nothing short of a miracle.
A Good Samaritan brought him to the closest vet clinic and begged them to help him. They named the puppy Valentino.

Valentino’s tiny body was ravished by ticks and fleas. It was so bad that he was severely anemic. He also had a temperature and was underweight.
The vet didn’t waste any time. He administered IV fluids and IV iron. They had to give this little one everything he needed.

His fever caused convulsions so Valentino was monitored around the clock. No one was sure if he’d survive. It was a very scary time for the tiny puppy.
He slept a lot due to weakness, malnourishment, and dehydration. One of the clinic workers decided to stay with Valentino so she could soothe him with her voice and gave him lots of petting.

Everyone who met Valentino couldn’t help but fall in love with the little fighter. He had such a strong spirit even though he was so young and had been through so much.
He had seen each of his siblings pass away one by one, which is extremely traumatic. One vet tech decided to bring in some stuffed toys to keep him company, hoping they would give Valentino some comfort.

It took a solid week of around-the-clock care, but Valentino began to perk up. It was amazing! He was able to eat on his own and he even began to wag his tail.
The vet contacted a local rescue group and let them know that they had a puppy that would soon be ready for a forever home. Every staff member was thrilled.

Miraculously, only ten days after Valentino was rescued, he found a forever home. A kind man submitted an adoption application and was approved.
He came to the clinic to meet Valentino and it was love at first sight… for both of them! We are so happy that this story had a happy ending.
