An abandoned dog had nowhere to go and had to resort to sleeping on the hard concrete ground at Eerste River SAPS.
They had been feeding and caring for the dog the best they could but remained concerned about his overall safety.
They ended up contacting Sidewalk Specials to see if they could help rehome him.

The good dog was taken over to Vet Point for a checkup and to receive any care he needed. And then it was time to try and find him a foster home.
Westley’s life just started looking up for the first time in who knows how long.

Today, Westley is safe and sound! He got the second chance at life he’s always deserved and is making sure to take full advantage of it.
The dog now has his own bed, ball, human friend, and furry friend! It’s amazing what can happen when people come together for a cause. 🙂
