A pit bull puppy was chained out back and neglected, often going hungry and thirsty and braving whatever elements nature decided to throw at her.
But it wasn’t until a flock of vultures surrounded the doghouse that the neighbors knew the puppy had to be sick and on the verge of death.

Lilo was placed in a foster home where she was bathed for the first time in her life.

It wasn’t long until Keana and Travis took Lilo into their home. A soft bed was quite the change for the nervous pup.

But Lilo started warming up to her new family after feeling true love for the first time in her life. 🙂

Hanging out with other dogs was also a first for Lilo, but she fit right in!

Those cold, lonely nights are now a distant memory. This is her new life.
