Here's the video of the truly remarkable dance performance by the woman and newfoundland dog duo from the annual Eurasia Dog Show in Moscow.
From what we can see, the dog is staring at the woman because the woman is giving the dog subtle signals and the dog has been trained to be alert to her every move.
The only way to train a dog like this in freestyle is with love and patience. You cannot condition a dog to do this sort of performance through punishment or aversion training.
