She left her position as a physician assistant after 17 years not only to pursue her ambition (and that of her dog) but also to make Portland, Oregon even more pet-friendly. She opened The Ruff House, an indoor dog park serving food and drinks to pet owners, approximately a year ago, but her journey has only begun.
