A very disturbing scene of animal abuse was witnessed in the Khmelnitsky region of Ukraine. Locals followed a mile-long trail of blood and found a severely wounded dog bleeding out on the roadside. Apparently, the dog was dragged behind his owner’s car as a punishment for misbehaving.

Sergey, who is one of the witnesses, immediately confronted the owner, a top local official named Volodymyr Baidych. Sergey forced him to stop his Volkswagen and saved the dog from further injuries. Volodymyr shamelessly admitted that he was planning to dump the dog in the woods after wounding him fatally.
Onlookers quickly rushed the dog to a local hospital, where his condition was determined to be critical. The dog, named Barsik, is grazed to the bones in his paws, stomach and neck. The vet staff says that he kept shivering in fear for 2 days after the trauma. However, he is very affectionate and the vets are hoping that he will make a promising recovery.

Volodymyr is facing heavy public outrage after his sick act of abuse went viral on social media. Under local pressure, the Khmelnytsky Police Department has assured the community that the case is being investigated thoroughly. Volodymyr will face up to 3 years in prison, if found guilty. Volodymyr has been defending his actions by claiming that Barsik bit his mother. Let’s join hands and demand this brute’s arrest!
