Curious Deer Wanders Into Store, Later Returns With Unexpected Visitors

Lori Jones was working at her convenience store/gift shop at the Horsetooth Inn and RV Park in Fort Collins, Colorado, when she was surprised by an unexpected customer.

Jones looked up to find a deer browsing the sunglasses and chips, and she couldn’t help but laugh. While there is many wildlife in the area, since it’s at the foot of the Rockies, Jones says no animals have ever come into her store before.

But this deer is no stranger to Jones and the locals. She is often seen in a nearby field grazing with her family. But she had never walked into any buildings or stores like this before.

Jones then led the deer back into the forest using a peanut bar, but that wouldn’t be the last time she saw her. The doe came back to the store a half hour later, except this time she wasn’t alone.

The doe had brought her whole family – twins and a young buck that she had nursed. While the doe walked right into the store, her family stood behind her in the doorway. Jones quickly took out her phone to snap pictures of this rare yet funny moment.

Then she lured the family back out of her store with a peanut bar again. I think it’s safe to say that this little family is Jones’ cutest customers!
