Thrilling Footage Shows Dog Saving Man In Avalanche From Victim’s Perspective

Mountain Rescue Search Dogs England is a charity organization that trains dogs to become search and rescue dogs within the mountains in the UK. These dogs search and rescue lost walkers and climbers on the mountains, as well as people who are buried under snow and avalanches.

The dogs react to a human scent being blown toward them by the wind or air currents and will immediately follow the scent to where a human is located.

While we’ve all seen plenty of rescue videos, it’s not often that we get to see one from the victim’s perspective.

MRSD thought it would be a great idea to show the victim’s perspective of what it’s like to be rescued by one of their search and rescue dogs.

In the video below, you will see four-year-old Border Collie Flo, a search dog from the Edale Mountain Rescue Team, rescue a “victim” buried in the snow in the Derbyshire Peak District of the UK.

Flo barks and rapidly digs through the snow as fast as she can to get to the victim, and she is so happy when she finally gets to him.
