Thrown From A Car After With Mutilated Ears, 3-Month-Old Pup’s Tail Wags Nonstop

A $4,000 reward is being offered for information about the mutilation of a three-month-old tiny Pit Bull puppy. The innocent pup, whom rescuers have named Gloria, was taken to the Humane Society of Missouri by a good Samaritan who saw the animal thrown from a car.

On closer inspection, the dog’s ears were jagged, open, and bleeding. It appears that someone tried to crop the animal’s ears, failed, and tossed her away like trash.

According to Dr. Mark Wright, director of shelter medicine at the Humane Society of Missouri, “This poor puppy endured horrific pain under what was surely inhumane, unsanitary conditions.”

Despite the horrors she suffered, Gloria is making good progress although she’s not out of the woods yet.

She is receiving laser treatment on her ears to stimulate tissue regeneration and help her fight pain naturally through endorphins. The tiny pooch sure loves what she thinks is pampering. Her tail keeps wagging despite all she has been through in her short life.

Applications are being taken for her adoption. Anyone with information is asked to call the Humane Society of Missouri Animal Cruelty Hotline at 314-647-4400 any time, day or night. Calls may be made anonymously.
