IF you ever needed proof that dogs really are man’s best friend, then look no further.
These heartwarming pictures show devoted canine Mahe refusing to leave the side of his nine-year-old owner during a hospital visit.
James Isaac cannot speak and is uncomfortable with being touched, meaning public outings and medical appointments can prove terrifying for the youngster.
But fortunately his faithful canine friend Mahe was allowed to stay with him during a recent hospital trip to have an MRI scan, needed to help diagnose his seizures.
