This is one of our favorite dogs on the list of rare and unique dog breeds that you’ll probably never come across.
Take a close look at this incredible dog. The Thai Ridgeback gets its name from the long ridge of hair that runs down the middle of its spine.
The ‘ridge’ runs in the opposite direction from the rest of the hair on the dog which creates the ‘ridge’.
The Thai Ridgeback is a brave and very strong dog that is often used to guard the owner’s livestock.
It’s important to note that the Thai Ridgeback is a very smart dog that is best suited to one long term owner who understands a lot about dogs and their behavior.
