8: Swedish Vallhund
The Swedish Vallhund almost went totally extinct but lucky for us a program to breed them was put into place right before they went extinct.
These adorable dogs are known for their skills in hunting down rodents as well as guarding homes and herding cattle.
Another cool trait of the Swedish Vallhund is that they are extremely loyal to their owners and therefore make great pets.
We’re glad this little guys didn’t go extinct.
Just know that if you happen to get yourself a Swedish Vallhund that you better have a big yard because they like to run and need plenty of space to roam.
