Poor Arnold the baby goat came into the world as a misfit. Nobody wanted the little one because he had a crooked leg. Despite how cute he was, he was going to be euthanized if help didn’t come quickly. Thankfully, the Black Goat Farm and Sanctuary stepped in to take the little guy. That’s where his rags to riches story began.

The little one started physical therapy. The sanctuary’s co-founder, Megan Mostacci, told The Dodo, “Twice a day we would do stretches and then splint them as straight as we could get them. They came off at lunchtime so he could nap and then [again] at bedtime.”

Folks at the sanctuary noticed that Arnold developed a friendship with a dog on the premises named Drake. The Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever would snuggle side by side with the baby goat.

The duo became fast friends and cuddle buddies. Even with his cute splints, Arnold managed to find a spot to get cozy with Drake the dog.
The snuggle soon evolved to full on spooning and mega cuddles, as you will see in this photo.

It looked so cozy on the couch, even a cat at the sanctuary joined the cuddle puddle.

“These two slobs spent more time cuddling on the couch than I’ve ever seen,” Mostacci revealed to The Dodo.
