#28 Airedale Terrier – 10 Years
The Airedale Terrier is one of the most iconic Terrier breeds, with an original breeding purpose of being a farm dog. The Airedale Terrier’s famous brown curly coat and black saddle patch make it as recognizable physically as it is in temperament.
This dog was specifically bred to hunt independently and as a result tends to be strong minded and and incredibly intelligent. Though they may be aloof, the Airedale will still show loyalty and affection towards its owners.
The life expectancy for the Airedale is anywhere from 10 to 13 years, due to their tendency to experience bloat, or gastric dilation volvulus. All the same, Airedale Terriers make amazing family dogs when trained correctly, and do well with smaller animals in the home when raised with them.

#4 Landseer is not a breed, it’s a color of Newfoundland.
