#27 American Water Spaniel – 10 Years
The American Water Spaniel is a relatively rare breed, and was originally bred for hunting. Despite the name, this dog is not a particularly good swimmer, but does have an endurance that cannot be beat.
They are a breed of dog with a life expectancy of 10 to 12 years, but those years will be filled with a companion that is even-tempered and loving to be the center of its owns attention. The American Water Spaniel is a breed of dog that does very well with training, and they are particularly intelligent.
They make a good family dog, and because of their size are perfect for smaller homes and apartments as long as they’re able to get daily exercise, since as a hunting dog they tend to be rather high energy.
