#26 Briard – 10 Years
The Briard is a breed that originated in France as a working dog, but now spends most of it’s time off the field. These particularly dogs have been described as having a heart of gold, due to their calm and loving nature.
They’re loyal and affectionate dogs, and will become immediately protective of it’s family. Though they’re rather independent from their original breeding as farm dogs, the Briard is also a dog that is perfect for children of all ages, having long proven itself as a breed with low aggression and high tolerance.
Though they have a life expectancy of only 10 years, they’ll give you the best 10 years that you’ve ever known with a dog.
