If you get a Bullmastiff puppy, you can expect it to live for around 9 years. If you don’t know this it can come as a bit of a shock, the Bullmastiff isn’t the sort of dog you’d expect to live fast and die young, but these laid-back pets are among the shortest-lived breeds.
Still, the combination of the dog’s low energy lifestyle and relatively limited age range makes it a popular selection for older aspiring pet owners. The Bullmastiff can be a blessing for anyone looking for a pet they can take care of easily without the need to worry about what the dog will do if it outlives its owner.
