#12 Saint Pyrenees – 9 Years
The Saint Pyrenees is another gentle and energetic dog with an unfortunately short lifespan. The dog can be expected to live 9 years on average. The dog gets its name from the fact that it’s what you get when you mate a Saint Bernard with a Great Pyrenees.
It is a great watch dog, easy to train and quick to bark if an intruder comes around. Just know that they do take some energy to raise, they love to get the most out of life by running around like crazy, so it’s a good dog to invest in if you want a reason to get yourself moving.
They might be fuzzy guys, but they don’t shed as much as their looks suggest. Still, don’t get one if you hate to clean fur up around the house.

#4 Landseer is not a breed, it’s a color of Newfoundland.
