#11 Cavalier King Charles Spaniel – 9 Years

The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel is an incredibly playful and relaxed kind of dog, perfect for people who are looking for a dog that doesn’t require a lot of exercise, but will still be just as happy going for their daily walks. They’re also used as service animals, and are incredibly intelligent.
Though the Cavalier will be your friend for life, that may not be particularly long. Their life expectancy is anywhere from 9 to 14 years. This is largely due to the health problems that are prominent in this particular breed. Cavaliers are known for having mitral valve disease, which often leads to heart failure.
This is the most common cause of death in Cavaliers, which is why their life expectancy is so low. All the same, a Cavalier is an intelligent and loving dog, and will spend all its years being as devoted to you as possible.

#4 Landseer is not a breed, it’s a color of Newfoundland.
