#8 Great Dane – 8.5 years
The Great Dane is a powerful and elegant dog, considered easy to train but occasionally stubborn! Reasonably playful, it is good with children and can always be relied on to guard your home well. It tends to get on well with other animals but if it meets a dog it doesn’t know, it can become aggressive. Because of its huge size, you’ll need to plan on spending a fair bit feeding it and giving it plenty of space in which to move around.
Unfortunately, the Great Dane has poor longevity – only about 8.5 years.

#4 Landseer is not a breed, it’s a color of Newfoundland.
