Service animals can be a vital resource to people with certain conditions. Service dogs can detect seizures, certain cancers, and act as a valuable system of support to a person who might otherwise feel isolated and alone.
They can travel to facilities where patients live, and can be used to comfort victims of dementia or Alzheimer’s.
