Leech Lake Tribal Police Department received a distress call about a dog bleeding out in the snow in the isolated rural region around Cass Lake, Minnesota.
When the cops arrived at the scene, they were stunned to find multiple deep stab wounds on the dog’s head, neck and body.

The helpless dog was in immense pain as he lay frozen in the snow begging for help. The officers wrapped him up in a blanket and rushed him to the nearest hospital.
But unfortunately, the poor dog succumbed to his nasty injuries and bled to death before reaching the hospital.
Cops have now launched an animal cruelty investigation to track down the person responsible for this fatal stabbing of the innocent dog.
Officers had earlier found a trail of blood in the snow leading to the dog. However, the cops have no promising leads at the moment.

The Humane Society of United States has heavily condemned this incident and is offering a reward of $5,000 (double the usual amount of $2,500) for information that leads to the identification, arrest and conviction of the criminal.
