Seemingly Harmless Foods That Could Seriously Hurt Your Dog

4. Turkey: Definitely! Yes, your dog can enjoy Thanksgiving, too! Just make sure the turkey meat doesn’t have too much garlic or spice on it, and double check that you didn’t leave any bones behind.

Certain seasonings could potentially make your dog sick, so watch out for those sorts of things. Also, bones are a constant issue when it comes to feeding your dog any kind of meat. It’s much better to make sure to give your pup a piece of the turkey breast than to give them a leg to gnaw on.

Why’s that, you ask? The bones can sometimes splinter and get caught in a dog’s throat, so you don’t want to risk it. Don’t give your dog any human food with bones in it! Otherwise, don’t be afraid to let your dog enjoy some turkey every once in awhile!
