6. Peanut Butter: Yes! Dogs love peanut butter, and it’s full of awesome proteins, fats, and vitamins. (But be careful: make sure it’s not a brand that contains xylitol, which can be deadly!)
Many dog trainers will actually recommend using peanut butter as a good treat to help incentivize your pup during training. It is an excellent way to reinforce good behavior, or to build a good memory for the dog during uncomfortable activities like grooming or nail clipping.
Be careful, though, as some peanut butter brands have been known to have xylitol in them, which can be extremely deadly for dogs. Just check your label before you give them a spoonful to be safe! Otherwise, you are free to give your good boy all of the Jif that his little heart desires!
