A woman was seen driving into a vacant lot by a Good Samaritan. This lot, sadly, is a popular destination to abandon dogs. The Good Samaritan, an animal lover, took off from inside her home to give the woman a polite earful.
“I was getting ready for work when I spotted a car at a dead end road removing collars from within the car,” she told ViralHog. “I put my shoes on quickly and ran out to the road and started recording the act.”
The animal lover pleaded with the woman on the video, stating it was free to drop them off at the nearby shelter, and that the act of dumping the dogs was illegal and came with a hefty fine.

For a moment, it seemed that the woman was listening, that she would spare the dogs unnecessary heartache. But then, selfishly, changed her mind.
“I am tired of people doing this continuously in the area. I recorded to [educate] and advise them to do the right thing. The woman in the video responded back for directions to the Animal Care services, and yet decided to commit the illegal activity as directed by [the] driver who then backed out and [the] back seat passenger flipped me off.”

An Animal Care Services spokesperson says that the woman did go back to the scene, later bringing one dog back to the shelter, then turned herself in to authorities. She faces four counts of Class A misdemeanor charges.
Thanks to the Good Samaritan who recorded the video, the authorities were able to locate all the dogs and two have already been adopted. The other two are still looking for their forever homes.
The four dogs are obviously better off!
