Dogs are great at alerting us to trouble, sometimes pointing out things we would never have noticed on our own. You can say that’s the case with a couple of dogs making sure that Ulnas Chowdry, a man out for a walk, doesn’t miss their special find.
Chowdry hears the dogs, then a baby crying, and goes to nearby bushes to investigate. He is startled to discover a blanket by the four pups. Under the blanket: a baby girl!
Wrapped in this little pink blanket, the child appears to be guarded by the dogs who are doing double duty by also helping to keep her warm.
They bark and wag their tails as Chowdry approaches, seemingly relieved that real help is arriving. Still, they don’t leave her side until other neighbors come to help, feeding the child while they wait for police.
Even then, the dogs follow the baby girl being carried to the patrol car. It’s not clear how the baby ended up there, but it is clear the dogs assisted in her discovery and survival. Call them guard dogs or heroes, either title applies.
