Dog parents understand that dog ownership is a fine balance. We have to teach them right from wrong but 9 times out of 10, we are too distracted by their cuteness to follow through. Their fluff, their adoring doggy eyes, the way they can take the most frustrating of situations and turn them into a laugh-out-loud moment is why we love dogs. Right?

Don’t get what I mean? Then ask James! James is the dad to Zeus, a very handsome German Shepherd. Most days with Zeus are filled with pets and smiles. But of course, occasionally, Zeus acts out. This particular day required James to get all parent-like.

The robust German Shepherd couldn’t help himself and got ahold of his favorite nom-noms. He knocked the bag down and made a huge mess! James walked in, after hearing the commotion, and put Zeus in a timeout in the next room while he cleaned up. What followed was absolute perfection!
Sure, you can debate that Zeus, with his extra long tongue, was merely trying to help his dad clean up but let’s be real here– Zeus just wanted some nibbles. And Dad got it all on film!
