A dog named Lamb was dumped and abandoned, and he ended up with severe mange and tick fever. He was taken in by Sidewalk Specials and found with suspicious burns all over his body.
The poor dog was in such a sad state, but rescuers were determined to do whatever it’d take to help.

Lamb was able to go on to a foster home where he’d soak up all the love and attention possible while waiting for a forever family.
But at one point, he seemed to give up all hope. So they got him his first toy. He loved it and wouldn’t let it go! And then he got the best news…

The dog was on his way to a forever home! He now had a dog and cat friend and was looking better with each passing day, but sadly, the damage had already been done.
The rough beginning to Lamb’s life took its toll, and he ended up passing in his mom’s arms at just eight months old.
Although he’s now gone, we can find peace in the fact that he got his forever home and happy ever after. He got to feel love up until the very end.
Sidewalk Specials would do it all over again if they could, and hopefully Lamb’s story shows that all dogs deserve love no matter what.
