Kids Shot Her Over & Over To Cover Up Their Crime, Woman Goes In For A Kiss

Animal cruelty is an ongoing problem for both animal lovers and law enforcement. Despite laws being in place, animals are still callously mistreated.

One dog, named Millie, is winning hearts after her story hit headlines and she made an appearance on TV.

Millie was only a few months old when she was attacked by a group of kids. The kids beat her and then shot her in the face.

When she did not die right away, they continued to shoot her to cover up their crime. Millie should not have survived but something miraculous happened… Millie lived!

While Millie did survive, she no longer has a snout. She still has two bullets lodged inside her head since it is too risky to try to remove them.

Millie’s survival was so unlikely that she, and the woman who adopted her, were asked to appear on a local television show.

A veterinarian held Millie and spoke about her case. He said sometimes it is in the best interest of the dog to have them put to sleep.

But agreed that since Millie received immediate medical intervention and responded well, she could live a long happy life. She has no idea she’s different than any other dog.

Millie is sweet and playful. Even without a snout, she still has her sense of smell. She loves to snuggle with her doggy siblings who are also animal abuse survivors.

While it is devastating that Millie had to endure what she did, her survival is a lesson to us all. Anything is possible with love.
