Despite the millions of dogs who bark at mail carriers on their daily postal routes, Moose is not one of them.
The two-year-old Golden Retriever is best friends with his postal carrier, whom his owners call “Mr. Mailman.”
After Moose’s mom posted an endearing video of Moose and “Mr. Mailman,” online, the footage went viral.

Although some dogs are not fond of their local mail carrier, Moose doesn’t understand what the fuss is all about.
He loves his mail carrier so much that he runs out to greet him each day and rolls over for belly rubs.
It’s not a typical postal carrier and dog relationship, which is why so many people have fallen in love with their bond.
Footage of Moose interacting with his mail carrier has become so popular that a news outlet in South Korea showed the footage on air.
Sadly, the mailman’s dog recently passed away and he admitted to Megan Gruszynski, Moose’s owner, that Moose reminds him a lot of his deceased pooch.
Ironically, about the same time the mailman’s dog passed away is when he received word of his new route.

“He says that Moose reminds him so much of his dog when he was a young pup,” Gruszynski said.
Though the postal carrier wishes to remain anonymous, the love Moose has for him is very public. Each day, Moose runs to the front yard and the same routine starts all over again.
