For whatever reason, some people choose to allow their dogs to roam even though it could result in injury to them or others.
Dogs should always be tethered outside or under supervision for safety, especially in areas dense with people.

A dog walker was out with five dogs when an unleashed pit bull charged at them.
This shouldn’t happen, but the woman used some quick thinking to turn the pit bull’s attention toward her rather than the dogs by stomping on the ground and yelling.
It did the trick, and the pit bull ended up walking back to its house. Luckily, no one was hurt that day.
