Burglars Shoot Homeowner In The Face, Newly Trained K9 Jumps In To Save The Day

Connecticut State Police has proudly shared a major achievement of their newly recruited K9, Broko.

In his very first week with the department, the smart K9 successfully prevented the violent rampage of a pair of teen burglars on New Year’s Eve!

Earlier, the cops had received an urgent call about a home invasion in Killingly, that had eventually turned into a shooting incident.

One of the masked burglars got into a physical altercation with the homeowner, causing a laceration to his hand. The other burglar shot the homeowner’s roommate in the face with a pellet gun, just below his right eye.

As the teen suspects stole an unknown amount of money and fled the scene, the department decided to use K9 Broko’s skills.

With his amazing sense of smell, the trained K9 hunted down the teens with unbelievable accuracy just when they were about to rob another home!

The cops are thrilled to see Broko’s top-notch on-field skills and his heroic spirit! The 15-year-old and 17-year-old teens are now under juvenile custody, and they will be facing a string of assault and burglary related charges.
