Eclipse the Black Labrador is quite famous among the commuters of a certain bus route in Seattle.
This outgoing girl always gets on the bus all alone, and makes her way through the crowd to find a seat for herself beside her favorite passengers!
A few stops later, she bids everyone goodbye with a smile and gets off at the Belltown dog park, all by herself!

As the legend goes, Eclipse wasn’t always a solo traveler. She used to ride the bus to the dog park every day with her dad, Jeff Young.
One day, Jeff stalled climbing on the bus because he had to finish a chore. But the impatient Eclipse wasn’t willing to wait!
She hopped on the bus without Dad and took off before Jeff could stop her!

The solo riding experience was a revelation for Eclipse! She realized the commuters were all over her trying to pet her and cuddle her when she was alone.
Soon, she developed a habit of climbing on the bus before Jeff, while Jeff caught up with her after waiting for the next bus! What a silly girl!

The regular commuters of the route always look forward to finding Eclipse on the bus. They look out for her and keep her safe.
This independent pooch surely cheers everyone up with her affectionate presence before departing the bus and disappearing into the dog park. What a sweet doggie!
