Dogs live life close to the ground. As humans, most of us our living lives around 5 feet away from the floor, and the only part of us that is likely to touch the ground is our covered feet. Dogs don’t share this experience, they are down at ground level and constantly relying on their bare paws, nose, and tongue to make sense of the world.

If you put any chemicals into the ground or onto the floor, there’s a good chance those chemicals will end up in your dog’s body one way or another. Make sure that you understand what you are applying to the floor of your house or the grass outside; you need to know whether it is safe for your dog or not.

If you start pouring chemicals without doing this sort of basic research, then you are gambling with your dog’s life.
