Pet health care can be a tricky area. Few people have pet insurance, and even those that do are hesitant to pay for some of the more expensive procedures. No one wants to pay vet bills so they would rather ignore health issues and hope they clear up on their own.

This is a mistake, because health problems only become more painful and more expensive as time goes by. If you notice something seems off about your dog, you should try and get it to the vet as soon as possible.

Quick treatment could save your dog’s life, or prevent permanent damage. Even if you don’t think you can afford to treat your dog, it’s worth finding out what’s wrong early. The most humane thing might be putting it down rather than letting it suffer because it’s become too expensive to save.
