If you, or someone in your household smokes, you are definitely shortening your dog’s life. Research shows that dogs that are exposed to second hand smoke can not only develop respiratory issues, sadly, they can also develop cancer…just like humans can.
Quitting smoking is obviously the best solution here, but if you are unwilling to do this, make sure that you are not smoking around your dog. They can’t help but to breathe in that toxic air. Go outside to take your next puff to ensure your dog remains healthy and disease free.
