Nobody likes eating food that has gone bad. But sometimes, dogs don’t really know the difference. They have a habit of getting into the garbage, after all.
But food that has gone bad with mold should be kept away from your pup at all costs. Moldy food can grow dangerous toxins that can make your dog sick. Make sure your garbage can is covered or kept under the sink where your dog can’t get at it.
Always dispose of your leftover food properly so that your pup isn’t tempted to go digging for food that’s already starting to go bad.
