8. Macadamia Nuts

It may not seem like an obvious food to avoid feeding him, but please make sure to keep your dog away from macadamia nuts.
What is particularly troubling is that if he gets his paws on these nuts, you probably won’t know if right away. Usually, it takes up to 12 hours for symptoms to appear, but if you notice your dog vomiting, shaking or shivering with cold or looking depressed, the chances are that he may have ingested some of these delicious nibbles.
A trip to the vet is warranted as quickly as possible.
